Semper Driver Backup is an easy-to-use application that allows you to backup the drivers installed on your computer. It is a very useful utility when it comes to formatting your hard disk or reinstalling the OS of your computer.
The process of backing-up the drivers is simple indeed. After you have opened the application, all the drivers will be listed on the left pane in a tree view organized by type. On the right pane you will see them in a list described according to their type and respective INF file.
The only thing you need to do is click on the Backup Drivers button and the program will begin to scan the drivers. You will be notified if the program fails to find some drivers. If that happens, you will be able to make a full scan to try to locate them.
After the backup process is finished, you can view the report and close the application. All the drivers found will be saved in the 'My Documents\SemperDriverBackup' folder, but you choose another folder where the drivers are stored. It's important to mention that the backed up drivers will work on the same OS where they were installed but they may not work in other operating systems.
